What is the Story?????

This is in our front yard area.  Just though it could evoke a story, depending on who is telling it.

How many of us have ridden this when we were growing up?

WEED IN BLACK AND WHITE

This one has a Nik filter called Fine Art Process in Siver Effects Pro. 

LOCAL WEED ( OR JUST A MISUNDERSTOOD PLANT)

I picked the weed on the field trip with Hal and Tom.  Bought it home and put in water till it bloomed.
Made sure though to package up in a plastic bag to dispose of since we don't need this growing on our place.

South Spit

GO FORTH YOUNG MAN

This is from the same log as the prior photo.  This reminded me of the hand of God saying "Go forth young man", OR maybe just a hand pointing "THIS WAY IS OUT".

TEXTURE AND PATTERN BY NATURE 

Part of a log on the south spit that capture my imagination with all the textures and patterns.
This is from the Sunday outing with Hal and Tom to the south spit.  Had not been there for years and I found this old log that definitely called to me.

ANY PLACE WILL DO FOR SOME!

The trees look worn along with the old appliances dumped among them.   I thought we as people wanted to preserve our forest, not make them a dumping ground.  Must be what happens when you live in a rural area and don't want to travel to town to the garbage company.

EVENING FOG

Taken looking toward Eureka one evening when the sun was setting and the fog was rolling in at the same time.  The single telephone pole is like a candle being lit.  These trees are all that is left of a former dairy ranch.
